Fountains Abbey, a set on Flickr (123 pictures).
Fountains Abbey was awesome. Derek took us there on June 8, 2011.  This is a bit of the info from their website:

The dramatic Abbey ruins at Fountains are the largest monastic ruins in the country.

Set in the naturally beautiful Skell valley, flanked by two vast expanses of lawned grass with awe inspiring cliff faces to either side and the river Skell running through the valley and under The Abbey - which in itself is a masterpiece of twelfth century building ingenuity - this truly is a beautiful place to visit. ... for more.

We had a lovely time on a sunny day .... well actually when we arrived it was pouring rain but we had a lovely tea and by the time we were done the sun was coming out.
