Fountains Abbey was awesome. Derek took us there on June 8, 2011. This is a bit of the info from their website: The dramatic Abbey ruins at Fountains are the largest monastic ruins in the country.

We had a lovely time on a sunny day .... well actually when we arrived it was pouring rain but we had a lovely tea and by the time we were done the sun was coming out.
